Community Thrift LA is not your typical thrift store. We don't have a building or a checkout counter. Instead, we have something better — a mission-driven mobile operation that brings resources directly to the people who need them most.
What We Provide
- Clothing for all ages and seasons
- Blankets, sleeping bags, and bedding
- Hygiene products and toiletries
- Shoes and accessories
- Books, toys, and household items
- Special items based on community needs
Where We Go
At least three times a week, rain or shine, we load up and head out to serve:
- Skid Row neighborhoods
- Veteran encampments
- Family shelters and transitional housing
- Community centers serving low-income families
- Anywhere there's a need
The Personal Touch
What makes us different is the personal connection. Audra and her daughter don't just drop off boxes — they take time to talk with each person, learn their names, understand their needs, and treat everyone with dignity and respect.
